For the last three days, I admit, I am broke, literally, I don't have money to spare. I was even sacrificing on food and I was living on pancit canton for three days. Sad isn't?
I must say, it was a blessing still.
I have learned that, having money will always be temporary unless you save.
I have learned that, material things should not be our priority, it can give temporary gratification only, material things will not give lasting happiness but our relationship with the Lord, family and friends will.
I have learned that I should learn to value money and be a better person.
These are the things I have realized when I was broke, tomorrow, I will be getting my salary, and yes I have money, but, with the learnings i just realized, i will be more careful this time around.
I am broke and this will be temporary set back. I will move on and I will never experience being broke again.
Promise.

So, the clock is ticking and the event is fast approaching.. blog camp is coming.. to those who are going, il see you really soon!

GOODBYE TO MY TELETECH FAMILY
Hi Team,
Sad to say, Today is my last day of work. For one year and two months I have learned to grow and mature into the person that I have become right now. Please allow me go sentimental today, as I about to leave the halls of TeleTech and move to another chapter of my life. One by one let me say my thanks to all of you! Bear with me, this is quite long. J
Here it goes:
To my bosses, Matt and Carl, I have learned so much from both of you, your kindness, patience and constant understanding throughout my responsibilities (e.g. from handling the Visayas area to Global Initiatives) both of you have been very supportive and very approachable when I need help, handling Visayas was a big responsibility that I didn’t expect I was able to handle. As I reiterate this, again and again, I have the best bosses so far in my career. Thank you thank you very much.
To my Visayas teammates: Pam, Vir and Tina, It was really fun working with you guys, work was never work for me, and you guys would always make my day. More than officemates, you guys were my friends. I am blessed to have worked with the best minds in Marketing, it sad that I will not be able to ping you everyday and talk about the craziness that is happening day to day. I will never forget you team, your names are embedded in my heart, but I will see you all.. SOON.
To my Philippine Sourcing/Marketing Team, Alwin, JJ, Tutie, Krissy, Manong Makoi, Lei, Rachel, Roj, Rona, Nico Thank you for bearing with me, especially the time I need to ping you for our Manila Bulletin, SMS broadcast and Hotjobs Postings, I will not forget all of you guys, I am very lucky to have worked with the brilliant minds in the company. Work was never work for me, when all of you guys are around. Thank you! and good luck to all of you!
Big Shoutout to Raffy, thank you for bearing with me, with all the rush work, you are the most hardworking graphic artist I know. Thank you Thank you!!! and Good luck!

I admire your commitment to the tasks you are supposed to do even though you don’t get much sleep at that. I will miss you Claire but I will see you and we will have bonding time when I am in Cebu. Lastly To The Iloilo TA Team, Tanya, Gian, Pam, John, Julie Ann, Rama, Leez, organizing a resume party was a tedious process, but with your help, we were able to pull it through, sad to say, I get to meet all of you once or twice in the course of stay in TeleTech nevertheless, I thank you guys for the help and kind accommodation. I had so much fun.
To all of you, thank you very much for the great journey, it was a roller coaster ride but its all worth it! J

Happy Christening Baby Jurnee
For the nth time now, I have been chosen a "ninong"..hmm.. I am not quite sure if i am really, the right person to be one, but i guess, because Ellen and Al are my good friends (baby Jurnee's mom and dad) I can't say no..
somehow, i kept on thinking whether I should accept the responsibility as a second parent, i mean there are responsibilities, like you know.. like if the parents fights, and seperates, you are the best person the kid can turn to.. imagine! (hope nothing bad like that happens) *knock on wood*
but yeah, there are certain responsibilities, so i guess what i can do is just give advice.. and thats it. hehehe.. but i won't entertain the future.. what i want to blog about is the nice gathering and fellowship we had.. here are some of the pics..

Bacolod's Mighty Cathedral
Went to Bacolod last week to to implement on a number of marketing projects simply because there was a strong need for a recruitment marketing in that place..
Let's not deal with that..
Well, going back, that weekend specifically Sunday was extremely boring so i decided to go out for a walk around the park which is quite near from my hotel, and since it was a Sunday, i went to church. and low and behold, i was amazed on how magnificent the cathedral was.. i didn't realize that Bacolod would have a beautiful cathedral..truly an unexpected moment for me.

The magnificent halls of the cathedral.
more close up view.the mass was spoken in Hiligaynon but I was able to manage listening to the sermon, but one lesson I have learned was to appreciate churches more, beyond history, there is a certain spiritual presence inside that magnificent church and, I have allowed myself to be swallowed by the beauty and charm of the cathedral.
so next time, to make my trip more enjoyable, I will continue to immerse myself with the place's history and antiquity.. another lesson learned.. till the next trip...
